Join us in the mission to feed vulnerable people in womens', homeless and youth shelters in Sydney during the Covid-19 crisis!

Since mid-March, the demand for emergency food relief for vulnerable Australians is growing at an alarming rate, while there has also been a reduction in food relief services. Our community needs us now, more than ever.

Donating to TWO GOOD CO will help to COOK AND DELIVER MEALS to men, women and children at homeless, domestic violence and youth shelthers. PLUS, TWO GOOD CO employ women from these same charitable shelters, providing a job to cook, pack and learn new skills, build confidence and connection, to help get lives back on track.

HOW DOES THIS 10X10 CAMPAIGN WORK?

CAMPAIGN DATES: 14 -24 APRIL 2020

WHAT: FUNDRAISING to scale-up TWO GOOD CO's food for charity operations, as the Covid-19 crisis deepens - together we aim to raise $10K to pay for almost 1,500 meals to be delivered to shelters serving vulnerable men, women and children.

HOW: True to our mission, we seek to support grassroots charities doing the meaningful work within communities. 10x10 VOLUNTEERS have (remotely) coordinated this fundraising campaign to pay for MORE meals to be prepared and delivered to MORE charitable shelters in support the most vulnerable people in our community. 

THEN: In 10 DAYS they ask 10 FRIENDS (+ their 10 friends and so on) to raise funds + volunteer help

PLEASE: Donate right here, your contribution matters and together we can make a powerful difference for the most vulnerable people in our community. Funds will be sent to TWO GOOD CO within three days of the campaign end date - ensuring that vital funds are directed exactly where intended and needed, without delays.

VOLUNTEER: It's tough times to safely volunteer and we may not be able to provide projects for everybody while social distancing measures are at play, but we will keep you informed of any opportunity to give time in support of TWO GOOD CO -  please check the volunteering box on the next page.

THE GRASSROOTS CHARITY

Before the COVID-19 crisis, TWO GOOD CO donated over 155,000 meals to people sought food relief in Sydney, Melbourne and regional areas. Despite this good work, around a quarter of those people in need of food relief were turned away due to a lack of available food, but since mid-March, these figures rising dramatically. 

TWO GOOD CO was chosen by the 10x10 Project Committee as they are positioned to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. And while providing nutritious meals to vulnerable people is so important, the second GOOD is the continued employment of women recruited to work in the kitchens from womens' shelters - providing a pathway to employment and a new life.
