Q: Does my charity need to have DGR status?
A: Yes


Q: Can I pledge but not attend the event?
A: Yes


Q: Can I pledge more than $100?
A: Absolutely! 


Q: How can I be part of a 10x10 volunteer event committee?
A: Email us events@10x10philanthropy.com or come along to an event and sign up there. We recommend coming to an event so you can see how the event works before you sign up.


Q: How do I know my money is going directly to charity?
A: We ensure all your money goes straight to the pockets of the charities by having sponsors cover all our event costs. We charge a 7.5% -10% project fee to cover our Headoffice costs.


Q: I have a charity I think would benefit from being part of a 10x10 event. What do I do?
A: You can join a 10x10 volunteer event committee and put the charity forward to be voted on by the committee or if you work for the organization then you can email us events@10x10philanthropy.com with all the details and we can submit it to the committee for voting for you.


Q: Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, if you request one each charity you donate to is required to issue you with a tax receipt following the event.
