A FIRST SENTIER INVESTORS GIFT OF GIVING

Join us in supporting three incredible charities: 

Food For Change, Orange Sky and Harrison Riedel Foundation

In lieu of a staff Christmas gift, First Sentier Investors will be donating $30 on behalf of each staff member to local charities who are supporting the broader community in managing the societal impacts of COVID-19, and you will be given the opportunity to vote on where your donation will go.

THE CHARITIES

Food for Change believe in an abundant Australia. Their mission is to help alleviate food insecurity in Australia. Where anybody can get the food relief they need at anytime, no matter the circumstances.

Currently 1 in 10 Australians seek food relief annually and over 1/4 of these people are turned away.

Their solution is to GROW | RESCUE | SUPPORT.

Orange Sky provide a platform for every day Australians to connect through a regular laundry and shower service.

The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

Their volunteers are not social workers  – they are empathetic listeners and great conversationalists.

Harrison Riedel Foundation have created an app called “YourCrew” as a platform to enable all young people to ask for help at the touch of a button from known, non-judgemental, trusted adults and friends.

Their mission is to increase the rate of help-seeking by young people in emotional distress.

Their vision is to reduce the rate of intentional self-harm to zero.

The First Foundation aims to make a difference to the local communities in which First Sentier Investors staff live and work, through promoting charitable time and giving in the areas of Education, Environment and Social Welfare. We may also support other charitable giving promoted by staff or required by natural disaster.
