THE CHARITIES
Deadly Connections is an Aboriginal Community Led, Not For Profit Organisation that breaks the cycles of disadvantage and trauma to directly address the over-representation of Aboriginal people in the child protection and justice system/s.
Their community centred, culturally responsive, holistic programs develop stronger, safer, communities, creating deadly connections and more positive futures, for communities, families, individuals and kids.
Heart On My Sleeve is a mental health social movement that empowers people to be real about how they feel. They help people rewrite their toxic narratives by learning to love themselves through the power of storytelling.
Their mission is to remove the barriers to emotional healing, which is often the shame, guilt and loneliness of suffering in silence. Their vision is to create a more authentic society, where it is the norm to be real, so we no longer have to hide from ourselves or others.
One Eighty was founded by Paris Jeffcoat and Leanne Westlake in response to a number of youth suicides that were occurring on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. In particular, it was the suicides of two young men in Paris’ cohort from high school – that catalysed the creation of the organisation.
Knowing that suicide is preventable, Paris Jeffcoat and Samantha Callender have been running the organisation together since 2017. The young founders have a vision for a future free of youth suicide.

ABOUT 10X10
10×10 Philanthropy is a live crowdfunding charity, comprised of young professionals, who raise funds for innovative grassroots charities by hosting 100+ guests at inspiring events.
Established in Sydney in 2013, 10×10 and its network of millennial and Gen Z volunteers have grown their operations to 15 major cities around the world – expanding throughout Australia and internationally to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, Vancouver and Auckland.
To propagate the 10x10 mission, 10% of funds raised are paid forward towards the start-up and delivery of the next 10x10 project, ensuring that the cycle of giving continues and new grassroots charities performing essential work are identified and supported.
