If you would like to attend and support the work they are doing, please click on the PLEDGE BUTTON for the amount of your choice to receive a ticket to the event. Your Pledge purchase is converted to your donation (100% tax deductible) which you will use on the night of the event.

10x10’s mission

“To Empower The Next Generation of Giving”

How does it work?

  1. 10x10 run live crowd-funded, ‘Dragon’s Den’-style, pitch events that support innovative and emerging charities
  2. Ten committee members invite at least ten of their friends to attend the event (10x10... get it?), creating a pool of at least £9,000
  3. Upon arrival at the event the attendees are given 'Charity Dollars' equal to their purchased Pledge
  4. Three invted charities pitch to an audience of 100–150 people for their donations
  5. Three #DragonForGood then ask the charities questions about their business model and impact, followed by audience question time
  6. The audience then decides with their ‘Charity Dollars’ i.e. their Pledge on who to allocate their donations to based on the charity they resonate the most with

The Charities

Listed below are the three charities that will be pitching on the night:

INTER CARE

Inter Care’s vision is a world where people do not needlessly suffer due to a lack of medical resources. We redirect surplus medical equipment and medications from the UK to over 100 rural health units in sub-Saharan Africa. We are the only charity in the UK innovatively tackling the two-fold problem of medical waste in this country and the need for vital medical goods abroad.

CMV

CMV Action is a small but dynamic parent-led UK charity raising awareness of congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV), campaigning for better prevention and management measures within the health sector. Firmly committed to limiting the devastating effect of this virus, CMV Action aims to educate women planning a pregnancy as well as the health professionals providing their care, and supports research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of CMV.

RECOVERY ASSISTANCE DOGS

RECOVERY Assistance Dogs helps survivors across the UK recover from mental health issues through non-invasive therapy involving Assistance Dogs. We provide free dog training classes for mental health ‘survivors’ and also train dogs to assist those too unwell or under-resourced to have their own RECOVERY Dog.

The Fun Stuff!

In addition to helping these three great charities, we have a range of fun activities during the night to keep spiritis high and everyone engaged to raise as much for the charities as posisble. We have selection of great prizes to win during our RAFFLE, a LUXURY AUCTION where you could be in with the chance of winning some really, really, REALLY great prizes (!!!). And if that wasn't enough, we'll have a DJ spinning some tunes for you during the breaks so there's a constant vibe in the air. In essence it's going to be a great night.

More about 10x10

10x10 London was launched in May 2017, with the first event breaking the 10x10 world record and raising £49,000 for three grassroots UK charities providing genuinely innovative solutions to social problems in the UK: combating drug and alcohol addiction; prevention of suicide in young men; and professional coaching in prisons to reduce re-offending. Since the successful launch we've now held 7 events.
