What is 10 x 10 Philanthropy about?

Mission

The mission of 10x10 is to fight apathy & engender a culture of giving & philanthropy within Australia's young professional & creative communities.

How does it work?

1. Ten event committee members organise a charity event (1 x venue, 3 x charities, 1 x dragon, food & drink).

2. Each committee member invites ten of their friends to each pay $100 or more to attend the event (10 x 10... get it?). Creating a pool of at least $10,000

3. Upon arrival at the event the attendees are given 'Charity Dollars' equal to their $100 ticket.

4. At least 100 patrons attend to watch three charities pitch their cause, model and impact

- all with a dragon who questions the charities in front of the audience.

5. Each audience member then gets to put their charity dollars towards the charity of their choice.

How do I support the event?

If you would like to attend the event, please purchase a ticket by clicking on the $100 or $150 ticket selections to the right. Alternatively if you are unable to attend the event but would still like to make a donation please click on any ticket option, on the next screen you can change your selection to 'no ticket' and enter any purchase amount. 100% of your donation goes to the charities and you'll receive a tax deductible receipt after the event. Thank you for your support!!!

The Charities

United Way South Australia is a registered charity working to ensure that every child can Read, Learn and Succeed in life. Our United We Read program is improving the reading skills of children under 5 years old in some of the most disadvantaged communities in South Australia.

No family should have to suffer the loss of a child due to alcohol and drug fuelled violence.

Our mission is to save lives and reduce the frequency and severity of assaults on young SouthAustralian’s, enabling them to reach their maximum life potential, by making safe and positive life choices.

Puddle Jumpers Inc (PJs) is a non profit, non-government organisation committed to responding to the social development needs of society’s most vulnerable children and young people; priority of our work is reserved for children who do not live with their birth parents.
